Newark Masonic Hall
Newark Masonic Hall, Notts UK, is home to five craft lodges, two R.A. Chapters, two Mark Lodges, as well as Royal Ark Mariners, Rose Croix, Knight Templar, Red Cross of Constantine, and Royal and Select Masters.
So if you are intested in joining masonry for the first time, or expanding your masonic life Newark Masonic hall could be the perfect venue for you.
Saturday Social
The Ways & Means Committee invites all Newark Masons, partners, friends & family to join us for a Saturday Social at The Newark Masonic Hall.
As a new initiative, we will be opening the bar from noon - 3pm on the last Saturday of the month every month to provide the opportunity to hopefully catch up with friends you haven't seen for a while and we hope you may drop in and say hello.

The History of Newark Masons
History of Free Masonry in Newark
First lodge in Newark was established in 1790. The town was without a lodge between 1833 and 1877.
Since then five craft lodges and over ten side degrees have opened.

First 100 years Newton Lodge No 1661
W Bro Ady Crampton has kindly digitised a book charting the first 100 years of the Newton lodge and Masonry in Newark.
The book was written compiled by By L. H. HORDLE
"It is my hope that in a hundred years from now, some Brother as yet unborn will derive as much pleasure and interest in delving through the Lodge records for the second century as I have found in the first."
We hope this will be of interest to members of the current Newton lodge, as well as other Newark masons and future masons.
